We finally made it to Taipei! Before I moved to Tokyo, we'd talked about using Japan as a great jumping-off point to visit many places in Asia. Unfortunately, something happened in the world that halted our travel plans. I've been in Tokyo for four years now, and Taiwan is only the second country in Asia we've visited since. I'm so glad we squeezed in this trip before we left, though.
Taipei is an amazing city—especially if you're into food and architecture. I've fallen in love with the old architecture of the city with its cyberpunk aesthetic. My favourite moments from the trip were walking around the city with our cameras, stumbling across old buildings that look like they can't possibly be standing, and capturing them on the Fujifilm.
I hope we make it back one day!
